Wow - this is my 100th post!In celebration of this momentous occasion (ha ha!) I thought a little giveaway was in order.
The prize includes:

- A set of mini rubber stamps

ReplyDeleteI have quite a few favourite books, but one that has always been a favourite is Charlotte Sometimes by Penelope Farmer. I read it when I was younger and it's stayed with me ever since (I still have the tatty, read to bits copy on my shelf!)

My favourite book is 'Lolita' by Vladimir Nabokov. It's just written so, so, so beautifully!
Its like Nabokov is an artist, using his words to paint amazingly stunning pictures.
The first paragraph is superb. I just read it over and over again and am getting a quote from it tattooed on me soon =]
"My sin, my soul."
If you haven't read it the you should definitely give it a go!

ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite book is Summers at Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn. It's a sublte world of fantasy about a girl who grows up.
2nd favorite is "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"...I forget the authors name right now. It's a book about a boy, his life, and feeling infinite while blasting the best music and standing up in the back of the pickup truck driving down the highway.
