January was all about starting a new art journal after the enjoyment I got out of making one the year before. I love bringing my thoughts to life visually and look forward to doing much more in 2013.

February was all about building myself up after a gloomy break-up. I brightened my life with fresh flowers, distracted myself with fantastic films and found little things to get me through a bad day. It worked a treat :).

March was about mastering the sock monkey. Huey was such a joy to make and I've since made several more.

April saw the launch of my editorial skills kit. Still a work in progress but I've really enjoyed sharing my thoughts on how to be a better blogger.

In May I splurged on some lovely new frocks to see the summer in in style.

In June I took the plunge and learnt some valuable lessons from internet dating

July involved lots of eating, and in particular a very enjoyable Sunday bake off with my bestie.

In August I wrote my 29 before 30 list. Still a long way to go but I'm getting there!

In September I entered the world of Lomography, getting the first roll of my La Sardina developed. Wee!

In October I went full pelt and had all my hair hacked off. The bob has become my faithful friend.

November found a new foster home for my gorgeous kitties. After a few fearful weeks and an urgent blog plea which hundreds of people responded to, I found them the perfect home with Duncan and Kerri.

In December I finally caved and confronted the 'L' word. Since then, the fella and I have been blissfully happy and I wonder what on earth I ever had a panic about.
Roll on 2013!
What a lovely way to end the year:)! Congrats and all the best for 2013! x
