I'm not a particularly tidy person, and I wouldn't call myself a clean freak, but I make my bed every morning without exception, and wash my sheets every week.
One thing I do despair over is how nice bed sheets can be so expensive. Scouring the likes of Debenhams and John Lewis, a double duvet cover can easily set you back by £50 or more.
My favourite place to buy sheets is actually Ikea. I don't have one near me, but you can easily snap up new packs on eBay. After retiring some of my old sheets recently, this floral 'Alvine Orter' duvet set from Ikea is the latest addition to my collection. It only cost me £20 for a duvet cover and four pillow cases. It's so pretty and makes the room look super homely.

Beautiful covers, I'm exactly the same as you about them, nothing better than crawling into my wonderful bed at the end of the day! Xx
ReplyDeleteTK Maxx can be quite good for bedding, I have some beautiful Kirstie Allsopp sets that were a fraction of the price I would have paid for them elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteOooh, there's nothing better than clean sheets and fresh bedding! I've never tried the lavender on pillow technique but I might have to try. TK Maxx is really good for bedding, as above- and I also really like Next but they're not the cheapest! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm sleeping in the same sheets right now, very good choice (: Got a shock at how cheap they were too! I love how extra cosy clean sheets feel. xx
ReplyDeleteI just bought the lavender spray and I love down comforters, too! Be careful not to wash and dry in a regular dryer cuz my mom did that and the feathers came out of a torn seam and gummed up the dryer vent, and left a smokey smell~could have started a fire!!!!
