Ruby Rocks shoes from Barratts

A few weeks ago the lovely folks at Barratts asked if I would like to review some of their shoes. Like most girls I'm an avid shoe collector, but over recent months a number of my old faithfuls have sprouted holes, scuffs and general tattiness and been relegated to the bin. I was in desperate need of some comfortable, practical flats, so dutifully went online with every intention of buying something sensible. But then I saw these...



Not only are they the most impractical shoes I've ever owned, I couldn't figure out how they'd go with anything. Could I really pull off mustard, fuscia and slate grey? But I couldn't stop staring at them. They had to be mine.

The shoes are by Ruby Rocks and are sold by Barratts online. I hadn't come across them before, but when they arrived they were as gorgeous as they looked online. They'd been carefully packaged and wrapped to avoid any scrapes in transit. The colours were vibrant and they fitted perfectly. I won't say I can walk very well in them, but I adore them.







They even feature ponies and hummingbirds on the bottom. Adorable!





As I mentioned before, I was a little worried that I wouldn't have anything to match these shoes. I was in danger of donning a plain black dress and having done with it, but then I thought I'd try them with a few outfits. Sure enough, I love how they look with most of my dresses. My default is to be quite 'matchy matchy', but these shoes are built to clash. They're a show stopper, and look fantastic with other bright colours. I absolutely adore them. Thank you Barratts!
