Three ways to wear... a pea green skirt

I'm a big believer in choosing clothes that are versatile, especially when I'm investing in something quite expensive. Fashion fads come and go, and I've made the mistake in the past of shelling out my hard-earned cash on items that are 'in', only to find they get remarkably stale and unfashionable a couple of months later.

I like my clothes to earn their keep, and often choose items that I know can be dressed up or down. Take this gorgeous pea green Angelica Skirt by Diane Von Furstenberg for example (sold by Matches Fashion), which I've been lusting after recently. I just love the classic shape and vibrant colour.

I work all day in the centre of London, so there's little option to go home and change into a whole new outfit before a night out after work. My favourite sections of the fashion mags are the 'day to night' outfit ideas, and I too love thinking up creative ways to wear my clothes for all occasions. Here's what I'd do if I owned this gorgeous skirt, using other bits from the Matches Fashion site:

  1. Thanks for this post! I have a pea green skirt (albeit more casual) which is always languishing in my 'I don't quite know what to wear it with' pile... the lunch and office ideas are good inspiration for me!
