Tokens of Affection

You might remember that a couple of months ago Frank and I got back together. Since then we've been having a lovely time going on dates and generally enjoying each other's company.

So when the lovely people at Ask Her Friends got in touch with me and asked whether we'd like to take part in their 'Tokens of Affection' project, we thought "hey, why not?"

So over the next month, until Valentine's day, I'll be documenting on Twitter the little everyday things Frank does that make all the difference to our relationship, using the hashtag #tokensofaffection. There are 10 couples taking part, but anyone can get involved. And it doesn't have to be grand gestures. Tokens of affection are just the little things that show consideration, love and kindness in a relationship. It could be making your partner a couple of tea or simply giving them a big hug. All the things that show how much they care.

Frank has been fully briefed on his obligations (ha!), and he seems up for the challenge. The couples taking part come from all different backgrounds. Some have been together for years, while others, like Frank and I, are more fresh-faced and finding our way.

I've done my first couple of days so far: the lovely foot rubs that Frank always gives me (I get very painful feet and he always helps me out with them), and the little notes he writes me sometimes. The latest was this gorgeous little card. It definitely made me smile :)
