I had a pretty good weekend, which included watching a great, albeit freaky film called Snowtown (anyone seen it?), entertaining one of Frank's friends, cooking up a storm (flapjack, satsuma cake, courgette and prawn linguine and lasagne) and sewing a bit of bunting (tutorial coming up soon).
On Sunday I had a near-escape from a scalding episode when Frank accidentally knocked my elbow while I was nursing a cup of boiling hot tea. Yep - it went all over my right leg, from hip to toe. I have never dived out of my pyjamas quicker, and spent the next half an hour shivering in a cold bath before wrapping myself in cling film. Thankfully there was no damage - just a slightly pink and sore leg. Frank felt awful and headed to the farmer's market to buy me some lovely salady bits for lunch and a bunch of pretty flowers to cheer me up.

I've also been watching Mr Selfridge. God I love a period drama. Other than that, lots in store this week and no time to plan so it seems!

Just seeing the Domino's boxes has made me want a pizza! Glad your leg wasn't too burnt. Not sure I would have been brave enough to spend half an hour in cold water!

I watched Snowtown a while ago now and it is a film that still haunts me. Amazing performances of such a dark and confronting subject.
