I'm loving: pretty stationery

Working with print publications and being a veritable stationery hoarder means I'm always on the look-out for pretty new paper. I'm sure I'm not alone. Judging by my Bloglovin' and Twitter feeds I'll take an educated guess that there are hoards of stationery addicts like me who show all the necessary 'addict'-like symptoms that the name entails. Every year, diary shopping is a big deal, to the extent that my teenage inclinations towards Paperchase or Moleskine just don't cut it anymore. I want crisp, thick, off-white, uncoated paper, quirky, unusual designs and enough bells and whistles to form an orchestra. It's a stressful, nerve-racking experience. After all, you're committing yourself to an entire year of this diary. Important decisions lie ahead. (And don't bother wafting your mobile phone calendar at me and shrugging your shoulders. I'm a print girl, that's all there is to it.)

Recently I stumbled across another new site - Minted - and it soon became apparent that for all things stationery related, this is the place to be. I'm guilty of scrutinising any wedding invitation that lands on my doorstep, and feel tired of the generic 'thank you' cards that litter the shelves of every shop I walk into. But Minted's offering of invitations, note cards, headed writing paper and save the date cards include everything I'd want for stationery: quirky typefaces, reversed out colours, thick luxury paper, letterpress and lots more in between, all sourced from independent indie designers. Plus, they have everything from baby shower invitations and magnets to personalised journals, photo albums and beautiful art prints on offer, making it very difficult for me to resist a splurge. Here are some of my favourites.

Ice Cream Parlour Pastels Save the Date Cards

Striped Florals Save the Date Cards

Passing Notes Save the Date Postcards

Fiesta Folk Art Letterpress Wedding Invitations

Hello Love Journals

Baby Elephant Baby Shower Invitations

Initial Caps Business Cards

Having refrained from buying any paper-related bits for quite some time, I'm definitely overdue a splurge. Now the only trouble is whittling down my choices! What are you favourite stationery bits?
